June 8-11 Japanese Acupuncture Sessions
with Dr. David Bole / Call OM for Appt.
Dr. Lama David Bole Ph.D.,A.P. is an acupuncturist and a former Tibetan Buddhist monk. He specializes in a painless, (non-insertive needle technique) Japanese Acupuncture called Toyohari along with Herbology.
Toyohari Acupuncture is a refined system of Japanese five phase meridian therapy. It is largely based on the practitioner's acute palpation, ability to feel Chi and specialized non-insertive needle techniques. Its theoretical foundations derived from the medical classics--Su Wen, Ling Shu and Nan Jing. Dr. Bole's teacher, in Japan, is blind and has developed an acute sensitivity to chi through this practice.
June 8-11 Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture
with Yvonne Woodson
The Benefits of Cosmetic Acupuncture: -Skin becomes more delicate and fair
-Reduction of wrinkles -Erasing of fine lines and reduction of deeper lines
-Reduction of sagginess -Lifting of droopy eyelids
-Clearing or reduction of age spots -An overall rejuvenation of face, body and mind
NOTE: With one or two treatments, facial acupuncture invigorates and illuminates the skin. Since it treats the whole person, not just the face, it uplifts the spirits and psyche, as well. To get the "cosmetic" results, you would need to repeat the treatment over time to retrain the skin and forces of nature that have been accumulating over years.
The treatments are usually done over a period of 5 weeks to establish the skin in a new pattern and those results need to be maintained every 2-3 months with 1 maintenance treatment to continue the re-routing of energy, etc. One treatment will be great for an experience and balancing treatment. Not so very different from a healing facial with massage.
Any questions? Email Dr. Yvonne: ywoodson@gmail.com

The Energy of Intimacy: Ethics and Beyond with Dr. Janine Lex
Too often the work of being in close contact with people and their problems takes a toll on a practitioners' energy level and emotional vitality. This happens because the practitioner is empathizing with the patient and entraining to their energy system. Symptoms of this drain manifest in a variety of ways in the therapist's life: fatigue, depression, lack of enthusiasm about work, adrenal burnout, unclear emotional and sexual boundaries with clients, taking on the clients' symptoms, and often an eroding of natural professionalism.
Come and explore the energy body and its use through breath, touch and focus.
Learn to keep your energy high and maintain good boundaries without compromising intimacy. Supercharge your touch and stamina while developing your intuition and sensitivity.
This will add to your longevity and the power behind the skill you practice.
Saturday is spent exploring breath and prana (chi, vital energy) in a variety of ways.
Diagrams and maps of our energy system as presented by ancient and modern depictions will be used as we invigorate our own energy fields.
Sunday, we will use the techniques to work with others.
You will leave this weekend with tools to use in practice and with practices to plug into your personal routine that will accelerate inner growth and vitality.
